TINYPAWZ HEALTH CONTRACT & BILL OF SALE

THIS AGREEMENT IS MADE FOR THE BENEFIT OF AND PROTECTION OF BOTH THE BUYER AND THE SELLER. This is a guarantee for the health of the puppy for the first YEAR of life for hereditary or genetic defects as they usually occur during this time in small breeds. Every reasonable care has been taken by the seller to insure the puppy is in good health. Puppies do stress during moves to new homes, change of diet, also from over handling and can bring on things that are dormant such as but not limited to Worms, fleas and/or Coccidiosis,  which are treatable, and not reasons for return. We treat our puppies for 7-10 days before they leave with Albon and to head off these problems brought on by stress. Other issues you should be aware of in the Imperial are open fontanels, hypoglycemia, hernias, and pinched nostrils which are all common in the imperial breed and not a reason for concern or return. Please be sure to read our info pages on care and about these health issues.

We must be notified IMMEDIATELY by you or your Vet. of any genetic or hereditary problems. A written report from the vet identifying the problem MUST accompany the return (return shipping is paid for by buyer) of the puppy. Our vet will confirm any problems before we decide if a replacement puppy is needed. If a replacement is deemed necessary due to a hereditary or genetic defect, it will be made for the same value, and sex as soon as one becomes available. THERE ARE NO CASH REFUNDS. A letter from a licensed vet is required with such problem stated in order for a replacement to be made to purchaser. Should a death occur due to unknown reasons, an autopsy (paid for by purchaser) must be performed by a licensed vet, and a copy of such report forwarded to seller before determining if a replacement will be made.

Puppies are like children, they are susceptible to pneumonia, colds and other infections due to drafts, cold temperatures etc. Another problem in small puppies is HYPOGLYCEMIA, which is brought on by a number of reasons: some are, but not limited too: playing to much, not eating properly, the stress of being moved to a new home or just being handled to much by children or adults. These conditions are all the buyers responsibility. This contract is null and void in the event of an accidental injury to said puppy. Small puppies are VERY fragile and accidents can happen. Every precaution should be exercised in handling small puppies, as their bones are tiny and easily injured.

People often want to know the exact size, color or personality of a puppy when it is grown. I can only estimate that by going by previous litters and the parent’s characteristics. For this reason, I make no claims as to the mature size, color or disposition of said puppy and no other claims or verbal agreements about this puppy's development, unless noted below the seller’s name. If you choose to breed or show your pet, that is your choice. However, seller will not be deemed liable if pet is infertile or unfinishable for any reason. We represent our puppies as beautiful loving pets only. Fertility and finishability of said puppy, male or female, is not guaranteed.

A lot of care, love and time has been given to this puppy prior to its adoption. Please make sure you are willing to make this same commitment.

By signing this contract/accepting a puppy the buyer agrees to all the terms listed in above contract. Please print, fill out and return to us for our records. If you do not sign and return the contract then accepting a puppy from us will serve as your agreement to this contract.

A Shih Tzu according to AKC The American Kennel club and dictated by the National Shih Tzu organization the weight requirements of the Shih Tzu is 9-16 pounds. "Imperial Shih Tzu " breeders prefer ours under 9 pounds full grown. We feel we have every right to show off our best puppies and Adult Shih Tzu in the ring just as any magnificent breed of dog. In our diligent efforts to become a breed variation of the Shih Tzu, and by not adding another breed of dog to our Imperials we found we can and do show as the Chinese Imperial has been accepted as Chinese Imperial Dog by many dog registries and soon AKC. Our healthy Imperial Shih Tzu deserve this right. Our purebred Imperials are registered with the AKC - American Kennel Club as a Shih Tzu and can be registered as Chinese Imperial Dogs with other dog registries such as CPR and many other kennel clubs.
We breeders of Chinese Imperial Dog specialize in breeding the smaller sized dog which are often called the Chinese Imperials, Imperial Shih Tzu, Toy Shih Tzu, Miniature Shih Tzu, Teacup Shih Tzu, or Pocket Puppies.
Our sizes ranging from 5-9 lbs but many of our puppies mature in the 6-7 lb ranges. We sometimes have standard size Shih Tzu and when we do they are of the same excellence. We breed for healthy, quality, temperament and wonderful personalities.
